About me
Since 2013, she has been employed at the Lasallian Research and Resource Center of the Generalate Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools in Rome.
She is currently head of the Lasallian Library and Museum La Salle Rome.
Since 2019, she has been part of the scientific committee of the Société Internationale des Archivistes Lasalliens (SILA), actively participating in the work of the international special groups, particularly promoting the activities of museums and libraries, and the recovery and valorization of photographic archives preserved in libraries museums or lasallian archives around the world.
Since 2017, she has participated in all editions of the annual conference of the Italian Public History Association with posters and as a panelist, promoting PH's activities in its target community.
In 2022 she was elected convenor of IFLA's SIG RELINDIAL (Relingions: Library and Dialogue), for which she edited the Italian language edition of the CARTONERA project guidelines.
At her own Institute she curates and manages the archives of the Italian Pedagogical Association (As.Pe.I).
Curates and manages reading literacy projects at lasallian school libraries.
She combines her work and institutional commitments with historical research on the emergence of the first free schools in Modern Europe, starting with the French Petites écoles, (particularly those of Port Royal des Champs in Paris) to the period of the branching out of Lasallian schools during french and italian colonialism.
